Yes Chicken

Yes Chicken is more than a restaurant; it’s a high-energy culinary experience built on the power of the word "Yes." Octo Agency was tasked with creating a brand identity that feels as fresh and bold as the menu. We developed a visual language rooted in a hand-drawn, artisanal script and a high-contrast palette of Sunburst Yellow and Royal Blue. The goal was to move away from the traditional, tired aesthetic of chicken shops and toward a modern, lifestyle-focused identity. From the farm-to-table messaging on the production facilities to the playful, geometric patterns on the takeaway packaging, every touchpoint is designed to evoke positivity, speed, and premium quality. This project proves that fast food branding can be both sophisticated and incredibly fun.

Unboxing Joy

Packaging is the most frequent physical interaction a customer has with the brand. These boxes utilize an oversized, cropped version of the logo to create an abstract, high-impact pattern that turns a simple meal into a gift.

Chromatic Contrast

We utilized a dual-color strategy to keep the brand exciting. By switching between yellow-on-blue and blue-on-yellow, the visual identity feels constantly refreshed while remaining unmistakably cohesive.

Transparency & Freshness

For cold beverages, we utilized a single-color yellow application on clear PET cups. This allows the product to take center stage while the bold branding provides a vibrant frame.

Functional Design

Convenience is key in the fast-casual world. We designed a wrap-around handle carrier that maximizes brand real estate while providing an ergonomic solution for the customer on the move.

Walking Billboards

Takeaway bags are essentially mobile advertisements. These bright yellow bags are designed to be seen from a block away, turning every customer into a brand ambassador.

Rooted in Authenticity

To communicate the brand’s commitment to quality, we applied the branding to the source. Integrating the logo into the farm environment reinforces the "Farm-to-Table" narrative that sets Yes Chicken apart.

A Lifestyle Label

The "Yes" script is so visually compelling that it works as a standalone graphic. This canvas tote bag transitions the brand from a food service business to a modern lifestyle brand.
